Quality Assurance and Food Safety Supervisor
Location: Moraine, Ohio
Do you excel in maintaining top-quality standards and enjoy leading teams towards success? We have an exciting opportunity for a QA Supervisor to join our dynamic team! As a QA Supervisor, you'll be crucial to our quality assurance process, ensuring our products meet high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a dedicated team of quality assurance professionals.
- Ensure compliance with safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, and sanitation rules.
- Conduct audits and address quality issues promptly.
- Investigate customer complaints and perform root cause analysis.
- Coordinate training for quality and food safety programs.
- Oversee calibration, maintenance, and repair of QA equipment.
- Monitor quality tests for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
- Implement corrective actions based on quality activity observations.
- Utilize metrics to continuously improve QA procedures.
- Enforce food safety processes including SQF, AIB, and customer standards.
- Participate in internal audits and food safety inspections.
- Support recall program activities and manage non-conforming materials.
- Serve as HACCP Coordinator and conduct preventative control validations.
- Plan work schedules and coordinate assignments.
- Track employee performance and ensure departmental efficiency.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in quality assurance management in food processing.
- Sanitation experience is a plus.
