Dental Practice Operations Manager

Job Summary

As the Dental Practice Operations Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and high-quality patient service. You will manage administrative tasks, coordinate staff, interact with patients, and contribute to marketing and growth strategies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day office functions, enforce policies, track KPIs, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Conduct regular visits to generate new business and lead daily huddles.
• Staff Management: Recruit, train, supervise office staff, schedule work hours, and resolve issues.
• Patient Management: Ensure exceptional patient service, manage records, and coordinate appointment scheduling to maximize satisfaction.
• Financial Management: Oversee collections, manage accounts, complete closings in Open Dental, and monitor office expenses.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• 3-5 years of dental office experience with managerial exposure
• Experience with dental practice management software such as OpenDental
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of dental terminology, billing, and coding
