About the Opportunity

The Occupational Therapist will perform assessments using standardized and non-standardized tests, develop individualized treatment plans, and evaluate residents' progress. Responsibilities include preparing progress reports, designing adaptive equipment, coordinating facility equipment maintenance, and providing staff training.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelors or Master of Science in Occupational Therapy, current registration with the Nova Scotia College of Occupational Therapists, and relevant experience in a healthcare setting. A commitment to continuous improvement, collaboration, and a passion for quality care for seniors is essential. A willingness to travel within the region is required, with travel costs compensated per kilometer.
