Job Overview

The Senior Business Analyst role is a 12-month position based in Perth. The role is pivotal in designing and driving integration strategies during mergers and acquisitions across business functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with management to design and implement integration strategies.
  • Develop and manage integration project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with HR, IT, Finance, and Operations to align resources.
  • Engage with senior leadership for regular updates and transparency.
  • Address cultural and organizational differences for smooth collaboration.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Lead collaboration across Finance, Procurement, HR, and Business Analytics.
  • Monitor milestones using project management tools and metrics.
  • Prepare and present integration status reports to senior leadership.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Oversee month-end close processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Management, Accounting, or relevant discipline.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in M&A integration or related field.
  • Proven track record managing complex integration projects.
  • Strong project and change management skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of finance practices and processes.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with diverse teams.
