About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and driven People & Capability Coordinator to join Seymour Whyte's high-performing People & Culture Team on the iconic CreekConnect Project at Parramatta Square. You will support the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, and all people related administration for a major infrastructure project transforming Western Sydney's future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate interviews, recruitment approvals, and administrative tasks.
  • Manage onboarding processes including HR emails, welcome packs, and documentation.
  • Oversee offboarding processes ensuring proper compliance.
  • Act as the point of contact for People & Culture enquiries.
  • Administer and maintain Position Descriptions, Performance & Development Plans, and HR dashboards.
  • Support Training & Capability, Diversity & Inclusion and Reward & Recognition programs.
  • Ensure compliance with leave policies, JSWJV policies, and industry legislation.

About the CreekConnect Project

This is a major joint venture between Seymour Whyte and Jacobs, awarded by Sydney Water. The Upper South Creek Network will feature new wastewater pumping stations and gravity carriers, with strong emphasis on safety, digital engineering, and compliance with the latest standards.

About You

  • Previous HR experience, ideally within the construction industry.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
  • Strong time management and ability to juggle multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with HR systems and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle confidential information discretely.
  • Possession of a current C-Class Driver’s Licence.
