Job Description
About Seven Seas Finance
Seven Seas Europe, part of the Seven Seas Global Group, is an international FinTech company dedicated to facilitating cross-border trade between Europe and Asia. The Company is growing and we are shifting our focus to EU retail clients. As new business requires significant improvements and changes in current business processes and technology, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support us in this transition.
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and attentive Business Analyst who can bridge business needs and technical execution. You will work across compliance, AML, operations, and delivery teams to understand current processes, clarify requirements, and identify opportunities for improvement. This role goes beyond documentation — you will actively analyze, challenge, and refine business needs to ensure scalable, compliant, and efficient solutions across our card-issuing and payment operations, including programs involving Visa and Mastercard.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and validate business and system requirements from multiple stakeholders.
- Understand existing processes, systems, and operational constraints.
- Map current and future-state processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Structure and document requirements clearly and in sufficient detail.
- Use visual models (process diagrams, workflows, mockups, data flows) where beneficial.
- Identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and optimization opportunities — not just document requests.
- Transform complex, incomplete, or conflicting inputs into clear and actionable requirements.
- Collaborate closely with compliance, AML, operations, and delivery teams to clarify needs and align solutions.
- Support testing, reviews, and implementation to ensure usability, adoption, and business value.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes and product capabilities.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in fintech, payments, financial services, or a regulated environment.
- Strong analytical and structured thinking skills.
- Experience documenting functional and system requirements.
- Ability to model processes and communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Experience working cross-functionally with operational, compliance, and technical teams.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
What We Offer
- A key analytical role within a growing international fintech group.
- Competitive salary: €3500 – €5000 gross per month depending on experience.
- High autonomy and strong career development opportunities.
- Supportive, collaborative, and forward-thinking working environment.
- Centrally located office with hybrid working flexibility (fully remote possible).
