Job Overview
The Analytics Team is essential for developing and maintaining robust data pipelines, semantic layers, and data applications. As a Staff Data Platform Software Engineer, you will be building and refining data pipelines, optimizing semantic layers, and creating tools for advanced data analysis and decision-making.
What You'll Do and Need to Know
- Write and maintain high-quality Java code.
- Develop scalable semantic layers and robust data pipelines.
- Utilize technologies such as Spark, Trino, Tableau, and Power BI.
- Learn new technologies quickly and complete complex projects.
Qualifications
You will need:
- Over 10 years of experience in Java or similar OO languages.
- Experience with Lakehouse, Iceberg, Delta Tables, and Hudi.
- Strong skills in SQL, relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Databricks), and Unix shell.
- Proficiency in Spark, Flink, and Big Data ecosystems.
- Familiarity with JavaScript and test automation is a plus.
