Role Overview
The ServiceNow Security Organization focuses on delivering innovative security solutions to reduce risk and protect both the company and our customers. As a part of the ServiceNow Application Security Team, the Associate Product Security Engineer Intern will identify security vulnerabilities, interface with external researchers and customers during security assessments, run dynamic security testing tools, plan projects, act as a security advocate, report issues, provide remediation recommendations, and validate fixes.
What You Will Do
- Identify security vulnerabilities within the platform.
- Interface with external researchers and customers for assessments.
- Run dynamic security testing tools and plan projects.
- Report issues, provide remediation recommendations, and validate fixes.
Qualifications
- Current full-time enrollment in a Bachelor's program in Computer Science or related field.
- Graduation target December 2026 or later.
- Experience in leveraging or thinking critically about AI integration.
- Developer level proficiency in Java and Javascript.
- Experience managing bug bounty or responsible disclosure programs.
- Strong understanding of web and mobile application security assessment techniques.
- Ability to articulate complex issues to executives and customers.
- Experience with the ServiceNow Platform and security certifications are a plus.
- US Citizenship or US Permanent Resident with 3 years residency and eligibility for US security clearance.
Compensation & Benefits
This role offers a base pay guideline of $49.66 per hour, potential equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation, and benefits including health plans, a 401(k) with company match, ESPP, flexible spending accounts, matching donations, flexible time away plans, and family leave programs. Compensation may vary based on work location.
