Job Overview: Senior Network Engineer - ADC - Layer 4-7

This role supports US Public Sector customers and requires passing a comprehensive background screening including USFedPASS. Only US citizens, naturalized citizens, or US Permanent Residents are eligible.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain software-defined declarative infrastructure at scale.
• Manage large-scale infrastructure using code and automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, etc.
• Implement new open-source and commercial tools and methodologies.
• Collaborate with peer teams to resolve operational issues in load-balancing infrastructure.
• Engage in on-call rotations and lead mitigation of outage events.
• Review and prepare for planned production changes and perform software upgrades.
• Partner with the Site Reliability Engineering team for process improvements and provide technical documentation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of expert-level experience in Layer 4-7 networking protocols (TCP/UDP, SSL/TLS, HTTP/HTTPS).
• Proven troubleshooting skills with the ability to independently resolve complex issues.
• Experience with Linux-based system automation (Terraform, Cobbler, Puppet, Ansible, etc.).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and internet protocols such as DNS, LDAP, NTP, SMTP.
• Experience leveraging AI tools for process improvement and decision-making.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• High integrity and collaborative mindset, with global peer interaction.

Compensation & Benefits

For eligible positions, the base pay ranges from $125,300 to $213,100 along with equity, variable compensation, and comprehensive benefits including health plans, 401(k) matching, and more.
