Role Overview

As the Senior Manager, Software Engineering (AI Automation Testing), you will join the Go-To-Market Platform Engineering team to build the intelligent systems powering Sales, Account Executives, and Solution Consultants globally. This role focuses on transforming traditional quality engineering into AI-powered DevSecOps excellence with India as the center of excellence for next-generation testing practices on the Now Platform®.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive AI-First Testing Transformation: Lead the implementation of GenAI testing frameworks using TestGen-LLM, Mabl, Testim, and TOSCA for self-healing automation across CRM, CPQ, and CLM workflows.
  • Champion DevSecOps Excellence: Integrate security-first testing (SAST, DAST) into CI/CD pipelines and establish TDD/BDD practices.
  • Optimize Now Platform® Testing: Design hybrid testing strategies combining ServiceNow ATF with enterprise tools like TOSCA, LoadRunner, and JMeter.
  • Build High-Performing Teams: Transform testers into modern SDETs through structured programs and clear career progression paths.
  • Establish Technical Leadership: Partner with STEP org engineers to create standards, share knowledge, and scale testing excellence across global teams.
  • Drive OKR-Based Improvements: Lead quarterly objectives focusing on automation coverage, release velocity, performance standards, and AI adoption with measurable business impact.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in software quality engineering with at least 4 years leading distributed engineering teams.
  • Deep expertise in the ServiceNow Platform® including ATF, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Glide JavaScript.
  • Proven experience with AI/ML testing frameworks and modern DevSecOps practices.
  • Mastery in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, and API contract testing.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and technical thought leadership.
  • Experience integrating AI into work processes to enhance testing and team productivity.
