Role Overview

As a Senior Forward Deployed Solution Engineer – Applied AI, you will act as the on-site CTO of the build. You will partner with customers to design, implement, and deliver production-ready AI solutions that span backend services, LLM pipelines, and front-end integrations. Your work will create reusable assets and influence product strategy for the Now Platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build LLM-enabled applications covering backend, data orchestration, and front-end UI.
  • Work closely with customers in agile sprints to deploy and iterate solutions.
  • Codify reusable libraries, SDKs, prompts, and scaffolds.
  • Integrate legacy systems and deliver secure, scalable AI solutions.
  • Contribute field-tested insights to shape internal tooling and platform strategy.

Success is measured by production-grade delivery, reusable impact through shared assets, platform influence, and engineering leadership trusted by architects and PMs alike.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in software engineering with 2+ years in customer-facing roles.
  • Expertise in backend (Python, Node.js, Java) and frontend (React, Angular) development.
  • Experience with LLM frameworks, vector search, and DevOps (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Ability to design and implement AI-native solutions in production environments.
  • Travel readiness up to 30% for on-site customer engagements.
