Job Summary: Warehouse Specialist
As a Warehouse Specialist, you will be crucial to the daily operations of our facility. Your primary responsibilities include the safe loading, unloading, receiving, storing, and distribution of inventory. We are seeking reliable team players who prioritize safety and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift and/or pallet jack.
- Perform cycle counts, ensuring inventory is stored orderly and accessibly.
- Inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting findings to supervision.
- Ensure all loads are complete and securely fastened to minimize damage and breakage.
- Engage in frequent physical activities including bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. during truck loading/unloading.
- Ability to stand for up to 12 hours while performing job-related tasks.
- Execute any other assigned duties, tasks, or responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license if operating a Company vehicle.
- Proficiency in using a handheld scanning unit.
- Ability to compute basic math problems accurately.
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment is required.
- Forklift certification is preferred, but not mandatory for this role.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
This is a safety-sensitive position requiring prolonged standing and repetitive motions such as bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Candidates must possess good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength. The role involves regular lifting of up to 50 pounds. Occasional local travel (less than 10%) may be required for Company purposes.
