Role Summary
The Senior Data Center Engineer will operate as an SME in critical facilities services. This role focuses on customer and team-facing responsibilities ensuring uninterrupted power and cooling as well as remote monitoring across data centers.
Key Accountabilities
- Operate, inspect, and manage electrical and mechanical systems.
- Provide oversight, training, and mentorship to team members.
- Respond quickly to abnormal conditions and coordinate corrective actions.
- Develop and follow operational procedures such as EOPs, MOPs, and SOPs.
- Collaborate with Construction & Project teams to meet statutory requirements.
- Support change management, incident resolution and talent development within the team.
Required Skills and Experience
Associate's Degree or technical trade certification or Journeyman level training along with 5+ years of experience in mission-critical services.
Preferred Skills
4-year degree in an Engineering discipline and 3 years of experience in mission-critical environments.
Compensation & Benefits
This role offers an estimated hourly rate from $38 to $55. Compensation is based on individual skills, experience, and location. Additional benefits include paid time off, paid holidays, 401k, and full coverage medical, dental and vision.
