Job Description

Overview

Serco is looking for an IT Administration & Hardware Support professional to join their Digital Services Commercial Team in Sydney on a part time, 6-month fixed term basis with the possibility to extend or make permanent. Work is on-site 4 days a week, with a possibility to extend to 5 days.

Role Responsibilities

As IT Administration & Hardware Support, you will:

  • Manage mobile phone requests, procurement, delivery, setup, and plan amendments via the ticketing system.
  • Coordinate the mobile fleet, telco services, end-user devices, printers, and IT consumables.
  • Source quotes and negotiate with suppliers to obtain best pricing and supply options.
  • Raise Purchase Orders and reconcile invoices with approved orders.
  • Monitor and expedite supply chain activities and maintain asset registers.
  • Support business evaluations, project cost requests, and IT cost-saving initiatives.
  • Manage courier logistics and asset movements.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Experience managing a mobile fleet within a corporate environment.
  • Experience in handling ticketing systems, procurement administration, IT asset and software licensing management.
  • Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and excellent organizational abilities.
  • A customer-focused mindset and ability to work autonomously.
