About the Role
The DataLab is the research and innovation unit of the Experian group in Latin America together with Serasa Experian in Brazil. Our objective is to be proactive, anticipating the future, and consultative, identifying opportunities for evolution in the market, through Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques combined with the use of new data sources.
We create advanced innovative solutions that help clients and the market prepare today for tomorrow's more assertive decisions. We also have a 360º view to exchange with the best in the global sphere, considering the whole and producing solutions capable of achieving great scalability.
As a Data Scientist Specialist, you will have a central role in the team, using your experience and knowledge in Machine Learning, GenAI, programming, data processing, and analysis to technically lead projects with engineering and business teams.Key Responsibilities
- Propose and implement advanced data analyses and Machine Learning models;
- Efficiently manipulate large volumes of data;
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Product, and Business teams to understand needs, suggest data-driven solutions, and positively influence project direction;
- Continuously explore new data sources and technical innovations;
- Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in GenAI and Machine Learning.
- Present results and recommendations to stakeholders and executive teams;
- Design data-driven product development roadmaps in line with business needs;
- Conduct agile experiments and tests for conclusive decisions.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or related fields;
- Solid knowledge of Python, especially in data manipulation, analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, Numpy), and Machine Learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow);
- Experience in manipulating large databases, especially those stored in a Hadoop environment (HDFS), distributed data processing (PySpark), and SQL language;
- Experience in developing and deploying Machine Learning models, with good knowledge of model validation, tuning, and monitoring;
- Experience in code versioning;
- Ability to understand and solve business problems versatilely and agilely;
- Communication skills with peers, partner areas, and executives, including presentations and translating insights into business actions;
- Collaboration and teamwork;
- Continuous learning;
- Advanced English;
- Availability for hybrid work (2x per week) in São Paulo/SP (Chácara Santo Antônio).

- Knowledge and experience with graph processing and complex networks;
- Knowledge of GenAI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Agno, or equivalents;
