As Analyst, Business Intelligence & Analytics, Digital, you’ll be responsible for turning digital data into clear, actionable insights that help shape Sephora’s online experiences across desktop, mobile web, and app. The work you do will impact beauty, as you analyze performance, uncover opportunities, and influence how millions of clients engage with Sephora digitally. You’ll be part of a highly collaborative analytics team that’s united in beauty and supported by partners who are equally passionate about data-driven decision making, client experience, and digital innovation.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze digital performance across Sephora.com, mobile web, and app to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reporting to support weekly, monthly, and executive-level insights
- Translate business questions into structured analyses that inform digital merchandising, content strategy, site marketing, and product initiatives
- Support key dotcom and digital initiatives such as new feature launches, personalization efforts, and site and app performance optimization
- Partner closely with Product teams to define tracking requirements and ensure accurate measurement across digital platforms and in-store digital experiences
- Provide analytics guidance and objective, data-backed insights to cross-functional partners across Digital, Marketing, Merchandising, and Content
- Conduct deep-dive and ad hoc analyses to diagnose performance issues and uncover growth opportunities
- Present findings in a clear, concise, and compelling way to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
What You’ll Bring
- 2+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or digital analytics, preferably within retail, CPG, or beauty
- Strong experience using website analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics
- Advanced SQL skills, including the ability to write complex queries and join large, multi-source datasets
- Proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI, including dashboard development and data visualization best practices
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills and comfort translating complex data into clear recommendations
- A curious, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and navigate ambiguity
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Business Analytics
What You’ll Get
The annual base salary range for this position is $94,000.00 - $117,000.00. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
