Overview

Sepal AI is seeking meticulous and detail‐oriented individuals for an image analysis project supporting an AI research initiative. In this role as Image Annotation, you will assess, label, and score AI-generated image edits based on detailed rubrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess whether image edits correctly add or remove objects
  • Judge unintended changes in faces or backgrounds
  • Compare multiple image completions to determine best fulfillment of prompts
  • Detect subtle texture or lighting inconsistencies

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Exceptional attention to visual details
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (any field)
  • Native-level English fluency
  • U.S. residency
  • Access to a desktop or laptop with reliable internet
  • Ability to follow written instructions precisely and work independently
  • Availability for approximately 15-20 hours between October 10–24, 2025

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in image editing, design, or photography
  • Experience with visual analysis, QA, or labeling work
  • Comfort with structured evaluation frameworks and digital tools

Compensation & Logistics

  • Hourly pay: $45-60 per hour with performance bonuses
  • Up to 20 hours for initial screener, potential extension for long-term projects
  • Start Date: Between Oct 10-Oct 15, 2025
  • Contract type: 1099 independent contractor
  • Location: Fully remote (U.S. / Canada only)
