Overview

The Non-Attorney Bodily Injury Desk Adjuster at Sentry is responsible for investigating and managing bodily injury claims, including determining liability, gathering critical information, reviewing policy coverage, coordinating appraisals, and negotiating fair claim settlements.

What You'll Do

In this role you will:

  • Investigate the origin and cause of claims by contacting relevant parties.
  • Handle both 1st party and 3rd party bodily injury claims across multiple policy types.
  • Interpret policies, leases, contracts, and endorsements for proper coverage application.
  • Identify complex issues and seek assistance when needed.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, provide updates, and close files appropriately.

What It Takes

Required skills and experience include state specific claims licensing, a good understanding of the claims handling process, and experience with moderately complex bodily injury claims.
