Sentry AI is a New Zealand–founded AI agency building bespoke, custom-developed AI solutions for businesses. We architect and deploy tailored AI systems that solve real-world problems for real companies, while also developing productised AI solutions for specific industry verticals.
Our mission is to become the leading AI technical partner across Australia and New Zealand. We have the technical capability and delivery power. Now we are looking for the right commercial leader to drive adoption in the Australian market and help take what we build to the world.
The Opportunity: Head of Growth
We are seeking an Australia-based Co-Founder to join Sentry AI and lead the business, sales, and partnerships function — with a primary focus on driving growth across the Australian market. This is not a traditional hire. This is a true co-founder role. You will own the commercial engine of the company and hold a meaningful equity stake. Your responsibility will be to open doors, close deals, and build strategic relationships that transform strong technical capability into a scalable, market-leading business.

- Based in Australia — this is essential. You must be embedded in the local market.
- Deeply knowledgeable about AI — you understand the technology well enough to hold credible conversations with executives and technical decision-makers. You don’t need to build models, but you know what’s real, what’s feasible, and what’s hype.
- Well-connected — you bring established relationships within Australian business, technology, or enterprise networks.
- A natural dealmaker — you proactively identify opportunities, partnerships, and commercial angles others might miss.
- Entrepreneurial to the core — you want to build something meaningful. You are comfortable with ambiguity, motivated by ownership, and willing to put in the work required to scale.
- An exceptional communicator — you can translate complex AI capabilities into clear, compelling business outcomes.
- Sales-driven but strategic — you focus on building a repeatable, scalable commercial engine rather than chasing short-term wins.
