Role Description This is a fully remote Data Engineer role based in the US. The Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain data pipelines that support recruitment analytics and reporting, ensuring data is accurate, accessible, and reliable. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and optimizing ETL processes, modeling data for reporting and dashboards, and managing data warehousing solutions for multiple recruitment verticals. The role involves collaborating closely with stakeholders across business units to understand data needs, implement scalable solutions, and improve data quality and performance. The Data Engineer will also monitor data workflows, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of the organization’s data infrastructure and analytics capabilities.


Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Data Engineering skills within Microsoft Azure, including building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines.
  • Candidates should possess Data Modeling skills to design scalable, efficient schemas aligned with business and analytics needs.
  • Candidates should possess Extract Transform Load (ETL) skills to develop robust ingestion, transformation, and integration processes.
  • Candidates should possess Data Warehousing and Data Analytics skills to support reporting, dashboards, and insight generation.
  • Proficiency with SQL and at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering (e.g., Python, Scala, or Java).
  • Experience with modern data platforms or cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related tools (e.g., Spark, Kafka, or Airflow) is beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
