What are we looking for?

This role offers hands-on experience with backend engineering teams to develop and enhance security-focused solutions. You will work in a CI/CD environment and tackle exciting technical challenges in a fast-paced, innovative setting. Note: This internship is for 3 months only (October 28, 2024 - January 31, 2025) at 20 hours per week. Applicants must be enrolled in a degree-seeking program.

What will you do?

  • Design, develop, and own SentinelOne’s cloud workload security offering.
  • Participate in architecture, design, and technology research.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders on the product roadmap.
  • Work in a CI/CD environment and attend scrum ceremonies.

Technical Environment

Tech stack includes Go, Python, Rust, Helm, Docker, Kafka, and SQL/NoSQL databases. Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform is advantageous.

What skills and knowledge should you bring?

  • Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of software design principles and patterns.
  • Basic frontend development knowledge, especially React.
  • Experience with relational or NoSQL databases.
  • Self-driven, motivated, and excellent communication skills.
  • High level of English proficiency in both verbal and written communication.
