Position Overview
The Manager, Solutions Engineering will lead a technical sales team in India (Mumbai/Bangalore) and act as a pre-sales escalation point for key commercial opportunities. The role involves aligning SentinelOne offerings with customer requirements, guiding demonstrations, and mentoring the sales engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with sales teams to align offerings with customer needs.
- Implement and manage an effective SE strategy aligned with leadership vision.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert and pre-sales escalation point.
- Build productive relationships with prospects, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Coach, mentor, and grow the sales engineering team.
- Recruit and support new customers to grow business opportunities.
- Collaborate with support, product management, marketing, and sales operations.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Over 10 years in cybersecurity, with expertise in endpoint cyber technologies.
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience leading technical teams.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Ability to problem solve in complex, ambiguous situations.
- Expertise across SentinelOne technologies and effective communication skills.
- Experience in objection handling, competitive positioning, and engaging diverse audiences.
- Basic knowledge of hacking tools, MITRE ATT&CK framework, and various cybersecurity methodologies.
- Travel up to 25% may be required.
