Leasing Consultant

A National Property Management Company is seeking to hire a Leasing Consultant. The Leasing Consultant will show and lease apartments to prospective residents and assist with renewal leases for existing residents, while providing courteous and efficient customer service.

Job Duties

  • Meet and qualify all prospective residents and collect guest information.
  • Record accurate traffic source information in the system.
  • Show available apartment models and units for rent.
  • Take rental applications, accept deposits, and process applications.
  • Answer telephone and Internet inquiries promptly.
  • Assist in the lease renewal process as assigned by management.
  • Open and secure models and show apartments daily.
  • Inspect rent-ready apartments and overall property condition daily.

Requirements

  • Full time position with scheduled weekend hours.
  • Previous apartment industry experience preferred.
  • Organized, detail oriented with strong marketing and sales skills.
  • Effective communication and telephone sales presentation experience.
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficient computer skills; knowledge of Yardi software is a plus.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License.
