Overview
The Snack Bar Attendant operates the Burger Bar, Slice N Dice, the TDR, and/or the Coffee Shop during a scheduled shift. This role requires handling cash, operating coffee and food service equipment, and may include serving alcohol. A blend of customer service, limited food preparation skills, and adherence to company policies is essential.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
Report to work well-groomed in full uniform with badge, provide prompt, friendly and courteous food and beverage service, and maintain a professional demeanor. Adhere to cash handling policies, safety and sanitation guidelines, and information security protocols. Complete required SGC Training programs within nine months, and attend meetings as needed. Shift hours are based on a 24-hour schedule.
Qualifications/Requirements
Must be 18 years or older; high school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous customer service experience is beneficial along with limited experience in cash handling, coffee shop operations, and food production.
Language Skills And Reasoning Ability
Strong communication skills are required to effectively interact with patrons and staff, resolve conflicts diplomatically, and handle routine correspondence.
Physical Requirements And Work Environment
Must be able to stand, walk, and lift at least 20 pounds in a moderately loud casino environment. Flexibility to work where smoking is permitted is required.
Salary Details
The starting rate is $15.50 per hour, with compensation negotiable based on experience and education.
