Overview
The Snack Bar Attendant and Shift Manager role at Seneca Gaming Corporation involves cash handling, food and beverage service with limited food preparation and extensive customer service. Essential Duties
- Arrive well-groomed in full uniform with badge.
- Provide prompt, friendly and courteous food and beverage service.
- Follow order taking, cash handling, safety, sanitation, and security guidelines.
- Maintain organized and stocked front counter areas.
- Assist in merchandising and communicate guest feedback.
- Attend all required meetings and complete SGC training within nine months.
Secondary Position Duties
- Train and supervise associates to meet performance objectives.
- Evaluate personnel, provide disciplinary actions, and support scheduling, payroll, and HR-related tasks.
- Ensure product standards, stock levels, and cleanliness in the store.
- Manage guest and employee complaints and report incidents to supervisors.
- Contribute to daily reports and assist in developing staff.
Qualifications
- Age 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred.
- Limited cash handling, coffee shop, and food production experience.
- Minimum two years food and beverage supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, communication, coaching, and team building skills.
- Computer literate including Microsoft Office and restaurant automated systems.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
The role requires standing, walking, manual dexterity, lifting up to 50 pounds, and the ability to work in a casino environment with varying noise levels and permitted smoking areas.
