Innovation is at the core of our processes, and we are creating a new position within the R&D Department: Certification Manager. This exciting role is central to our strategy for the coming years and reports directly to the VP of R&D. As an expert, you will ensure the regulatory, normative, and technical compliance of the products and solutions developed by the company. You will be involved with critical systems such as uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), power conversion systems, safety lighting, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and ATEX and nuclear environments. Your primary responsibility is to ensure active monitoring of applicable standards and regulations (IEC, EN, ISO, NF, etc.), identifying their evolutions and impacts on the company's products and projects. You will disseminate this information to internal teams and contribute to its adoption.Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to R&D, Quality, and Project teams, translating normative requirements into concrete solutions.
- Participate in technical architecture choices to ensure product compliance, particularly regarding electrical safety, EMC, dimensioning, and specific constraints for demanding/critical environments.
- Define and monitor qualification and testing plans for safety, EMC, environmental constraints, and specific ATEX/nuclear requirements.
- Coordinate interactions with laboratories and participate in testing.
- Prepare and validate technical regulatory files and certification processes.
- Ensure the consistency of markings and product compliance with legal requirements.
- Train internal teams on normative issues and assist in risk analysis and safety procedures.
- Act as an interface with customers, certification bodies, and regulatory authorities.
- Participate in audits and contribute to the promotion of normative choices in technical and normative committees.
Qualifications
- Technical degree, engineering degree, or equivalent in electrical engineering or electronics.
- Significant experience in product normative compliance, ideally in demanding environments such as UPS, EMC, ATEX, or nuclear.
- Strong technical expertise, good command of normative frameworks, and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Experience as a normative referent, technical engineer, installation inspector, business referent, within a specialized laboratory, or notified body is a plus.
- Fluent English is required.
