What You’ll Do

  • Set up, adjust, and operate CNC Mill, Lathes, Grinders and other precision equipment by following documented procedures and technical drawings to produce high quality machined parts that meet blueprint specifications.
  • Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines (lathes, verticals, horizontals, and 5-axis).
  • Align and secure fixtures to machine tables or tombstones.
  • Work with state-of-the-art equipment including DMG Mori, Kitamura, Okuma, Haas, Hurco, and Citizen machines.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to produce precision components.
  • Monitor machining processes and perform in-process inspections to ensure quality.
  • Interface with Quality Assurance personnel regarding inspection criteria and results.
  • Perform in-process inspections on production parts.
  • Provide feedback to programming and supervision regarding cycle times, program accuracy, and suggest changes to improve productivity and part accuracy.
  • Conform to all requirements of the Quality System and any customer quality requirements
  • Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with 6S standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience as a CNC machinist, with set up skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints.
  • Familiarity with Fanuc, Mitsubishi, or Okuma OSP controls a plus.
  • Must have standard machinist’s tools and toolbox.
  • Familiarity with inspection tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and safety-first mindset.
  • Team player who thrives in a family-oriented culture.
  • Good and dependable attendance.
