Business Development Manager – Defence Engineering Services
Location: Derby; 1 day per week in office, remaining days at customer sites and home/remote Salary: Competitive + Bonus + Benefits Type: Full-Time | Permanent Industry: Engineering & Technical Staffing
Your Responsibilities
- Sell time & materials staffing, service centre, and work packages in the defence sector.
- Develop a strategy and manage the full sales cycle from market research to execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels.
- Generate compelling sales pitches and tailored value propositions.
- Manage CRM, write proposals, respond to RFQs, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
This role is ideal for candidates with previous commercial, technical, or recruitment experience with an established network, looking for growth within business development.
