About the Role

The Active Damping Design Release Engineer at Segula Technologies is responsible for the engineering, design, development, timing, and production release of chassis components and systems. The role involves interfacing with suppliers, purchasing, and supporting quality and assembly plants to develop the Active Damping Control Module EC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage product electrical requirements to meet vehicle and component functional targets.
  • Develop and maintain development timing for hardware and feature rollouts.
  • Track electronic hardware and software validation activities and bug-fixes.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams on DVPRs and DFMEAs.
  • Approve test results and deviations to ensure proper vehicle launch gates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Automotive, or Systems Engineering
  • 2+ years experience in Active Damping Control Module Development
  • Experience with electronic control unit development and calibration/diagnostics in automotive controls
  • Intermediate proficiency in CAN networks, EMC, FMEA, and ISO 26262 standards
  • Strong communication skills and proven record from design to production.

Additional Information

This position is based in Auburn Hills, Michigan, U.S., with eligibility to TN Visa required; must be a Canadian citizen (mandatory).
