We are looking for an enthusiastic and empathetic Leave of Absence Coordinator to join our team. Primary Purpose Of The Role
Analyze reported leave requests to determine paid leave benefits based on client plans, policies, and state/federal regulations. Make timely calculations, payments, and adjustments for client paid leave plans, ensuring ongoing claim management meets company service standards and industry best practices.
Essential Responsibilities May Include
- Establish FMLA claims; track and code documentation according to internal workflows.
- Analyze FMLA and other paid leave claims to determine eligibility, certification, and payment calculations in compliance with policies and regulations.
- Identify action plans, determine benefits, and make timely case decisions based on client service expectations.
- Communicate decisions and ongoing expectations to claimants and clients.
- Maintain professional client relationships.
- Attendance during scheduled work hours is required.
Qualifications
- Education & Licensing: High school diploma or GED required.
- Skills: Strong oral and written communication, computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Windows environment), and organizational skills. Must meet minimum typing requirements.
- Experience: Clerical or customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is preferred.
