Role Overview: Securitas Europe Transformation

To realize this vision, Securitas Europe embarked on a comprehensive business transformation four years ago. This program aims to unify organizational structures and processes across all European countries using a new common platform. As the program evolves, it now enters a critical phase of managing roll-outs in various countries, while also supporting those already live in a business-as-usual mode.

The Business Application IT Team

In support of this strategic transformation, the Business Application IT team operates as a product-oriented IT organization. Delivery is structured into two main areas:

• Product Domains: Accountable for product development and delivering functional value.
• Roll-out Projects: Responsible for large-scale, multi-country deployments and product implementation.

The Product Owner Automation plays a pivotal role in the global deployment of business-critical solutions. Your primary responsibility is to manage the product roadmap and backlog, ensuring they directly align with and represent the strategic priorities of the business. The key objectives for this role include facilitating rapid implementation and adoption of solutions, and ensuring that development resources are allocated to initiatives that yield the highest business value. Furthermore, you are accountable for the continuity and performance of service operations, maintaining quality assurance, and ensuring operational readiness. You will be directly managing service delivery vendors, the support team, the Automation platform, and one direct report.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the overall quality of all backlog items.
• Verify that each User Story within the backlog clearly articulates its intended business value.
• Actively participate in the Global Business Product Owners’ prioritization activities.
• Secure the end-to-end Demand-to-Production process, from converting business demands into deployed code.
• Initiate and drive critical topics that will enhance the roll-out of the Platform.
• Own the Service Description document, detailing the offerings from Securitas IT to the business.
• Lead the Platform Core Team, which includes a Solution Architect, UAT Lead, and other essential roles.
• Ensure that third-party solution providers adhere to best practices and maintain agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs).
• Lead various streams of the solution, proactively rectifying reliability issues, monitoring progress, tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and managing budgets effectively.
• Develop robust problem management processes and comprehensive service improvement plans.
• Ensure that both business and technical stakeholders are adequately represented in the definition and continuous evolution of services, facilitated by the Business and IT Product Owners.
• Ensure the AMS Vendor consistently follows best practices and maintains specified service level agreements (SLAs).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of IT experience, with a strong preference for experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
• Several years of hands-on experience working with the UiPath platform.
• Possession of UiPath certifications, preferably UiRPA (UiPath RPA Associate) or UiARD (UiPath Advanced RPA Developer).
• Strong foundational background in architecture and IT development to guide and support analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience in multi-country, product-oriented environments.
• Proven strong project and product management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a keen attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive and adapt in fast-paced, dynamic project environments.
• Solid understanding of business needs, objectives, and processes, with a clear ability to leverage technology for business improvement.
• Experience working effectively within matrix organizations and leading virtual teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to make informed decisions and execute tasks efficiently.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• Fluent in English.
