Position Overview

The Pre-sales Technical Engineer role blends pre-sales engagement, technical demonstrations, customer interactions, and hands-on secure coding involvement. This position is ideal for a technically-minded individual passionate about information security who can communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences. The role requires frequent travel for industry events, presentations, and on-site activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver product demonstrations to prospective and existing customers.
  • Travel to customer sites and events to host secure coding tournaments and build developer community rapport.
  • Host and present engaging webinars and virtual events for developers and security professionals.
  • Organize virtual and on-site secure coding tournaments to maximize participation and learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, Content, and Engineering teams to tailor content and ensure quality experiences.
  • Stay updated on key cybersecurity trends and tools while gathering feedback for product improvements.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years in technical sales, development, information security, or related roles.
  • Experience in customer or stakeholder-facing roles, including technical demos and pre-sales engineering.
  • Community involvement such as conference presentations, open source contributions, or secure coding initiatives.
  • Online presence in security via blogs, podcasts, or social media is a plus.
  • Excellent English communication skills and ability to simplify complex topics.
  • Strong planning, prioritization, and independent delivery skills.
