Position Overview
The Senior QA Analyst will ensure SECU systems and services meet quality standards and user requirements by leading testing for high complexity enterprise initiatives. You will work with a cross functional team including Project Managers, Business Systems Analysts, Product Owners, and Developers to design, deliver, and execute test artifacts.
Responsibilities
- Testing Leadership: Plan and execute functional, system, integrated, regression, UI, manual, API, usability, accessibility, compatibility, and exploratory tests for various applications.
- Collaboration: Work with delivery teams and vendors to review requirements, develop test strategies, plans, and scripts.
- Defect Management: Establish and manage defect reporting and triage meetings using enterprise defect tracking tools.
- Analysis & Reporting: Analyze test results, prepare operational readiness reports, and review junior team outputs.
- Process Improvement & Mentoring: Enhance testing processes, methodologies and mentor team members in QA practices.
Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of experience in QA methodologies, tools and process management, with a strong understanding of SDLC in Agile environments. Excellent communication, problem-solving, multi-tasking and mentoring skills are necessary.
Preferred Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, Finance or Engineering. Basic programming skills for test automation and experience in the financial industry are preferred.
Work Environment
Hybrid work environment with both on-site and remote work options in North Carolina.
