Overview

The Finance & Administration Officer at Sectra will support the ANZ organization by assisting with both accounting and general administrative tasks. This role is divided approximately equally between finance and administration, reporting to the ANZ Finance Manager.

Finance Duties

Responsibilities include handling full function accounts receivable and payable, processing invoices and tax-related payments, bank account and balance sheet reconciliations, preparing GST returns for AU and NZ, supporting payroll duties, and assisting in annual income tax return preparation.

  • Manage invoicing and follow-up on unpaid invoices.
  • Process purchase invoices and employee expense payments.
  • Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations monthly.
  • Prepare and lodge GST returns for both AU and NZ.
  • Support ad-hoc financial reporting and payroll duties.

Administrative Duties

The role includes general administrative support such as office management, HR assistance, logistics, recruitment support, ordering supplies, coordinating deliveries, and organizing onboarding for new employees.

  • Assist with daily operations and office management tasks.
  • Coordinate travel bookings and trade show logistics.
  • Manage onboarding and office setups for new staff.
  • Handle asset management and meeting room allocations.
  • Undertake ad hoc tasks as required by senior management.

General Responsibilities

Act in accordance with company policies, build effective stakeholder relationships, and represent the Sectra brand while promoting its culture and values.

Working Conditions and Benefits

This is a flexible hybrid role with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office. Occasional travel is involved, and extra hours may be required with corresponding time in lieu.
