About the Role
The Executive Assistant, Research Institute Administration at Seattle Children's provides high-level administrative support to the executive leadership. This role requires independent work, critical thinking, and delegated decision making while interfacing with senior internal and external contacts.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize, prioritize, and coordinate a high volume of work
- Handle highly confidential information with discretion
- Create, type, edit, and proofread various documents
- Maintain filing systems and schedule meetings
- Arrange travel and coordinate budget preparations
- Extract and analyze data for reports and presentations
- Audit or reconcile financial statements and invoices
- Deliver exceptional customer service to visitors and customers
Required Education and Experience
A minimum of five years of progressively responsible administrative experience supporting high‐level executives in a large organization or an equivalent of ten years in administrative roles. Education requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree is preferred along with healthcare/medical office experience and project management assistance experience.
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers an hourly wage of $38.81 to $58.21, calculated on a full-time basis (2080 hours per year). Seattle Children's provides a generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 403(b), life insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.
