About the role

About SDG Group España

SDG Group is a global leader in Big Data, Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence. Since 1994, we have been supporting half of the IBEX-35 and some of the most prominent international companies in their digital transformation, turning data into high-impact solutions.

We are building and expanding our UX/UI team and would love to have someone with UX/UI experience who has autonomy, judgment, and decision-making capacity. This is an opportunity to be part of something new, contribute your vision, and grow with the team. Here your work has a direct impact: from design to production, on strategic projects for top-tier national and international clients.

Your day-to-day:

As a UX/UI Designer at SDG, your role will be key to driving projects from start to finish. This includes:

  • Gathering and translating business requirements into user flows, interfaces, and functional prototypes that solve real problems.
  • Designing complete interfaces and microinteractions: loading states, empty states, error states, basic accessibility, and a coherent experience on each screen.
  • Preparing handoff in Figma for the development team and accompanying the implementation.
  • Managing multiple projects in parallel, prioritizing and documenting design decisions and criteria.
  • Actively participating in problem definition when requirements are not fully closed, contributing your vision to co-create solutions with business and development.
  • Working on projects with tight deadlines, where the design must be well-defined and structured before moving to development, without losing quality or usability.

What we are looking for in you:

Technical Skills and Experience:

  • +5 years of experience as a UX/UI or Product Designer, with a clear and demonstrable focus on UI.
  • UX experience: information architecture, flow design, and interaction definition.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma: components, variants, auto-layout, interactive prototypes, shared libraries.
  • Experience creating and maintaining Design Systems: from component structure and variants to token documentation and usage guidelines.
  • Experience preparing handoff for development and accompanying implementation: you know what a developer needs to work well and ensure the design is respected in production.

Strategic and Management Skills:

  • Ability to analyze requirements, ask the right questions, argue design decisions with data and judgment, and document them for the team to understand.
  • Ability to collaborate in a team and coordinate with development and business in agile environments, with proactivity and clear communication, especially when requirements evolve or are not fully defined.
  • Good time management and ability to prioritize multiple projects in parallel without losing quality.
  • Attention to detail, focus on consistency, and design quality. Every pixel counts, every interaction has a purpose.
  • Conversational English for meetings with international clients and technical documentation.

We Value:

  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS to understand front-end functionality and facilitate a smoother, more realistic handoff.
  • Experience in designing B2B tools or data analysis related tools: complex permissions, extensive forms, dense tables with filters and actions, analytical dashboards.
  • Proficiency in Illustrator/Photoshop for creating custom icons and visual assets.

What makes us different?

  • Top-level technology and innovation. Technology and data are our essence. We work with the most advanced market tools and train you to master the tools that are redefining the industry. You will have access to the latest platforms and technologies.
  • Professional development tailored to you. Every semester, you will meet with your manager to discuss your achievements, new challenges, and salary adjustments based on results. From day one, you will be part of our team.
  • Learn from leaders. You will be surrounded by professionals, both technical and business, who will share their knowledge for you to learn from them.
  • Purpose and values that define us. We believe in diversity and inclusion as essential drivers of creativity and innovation.

Benefits and professional development:

  • Total flexibility: You can go to the office if you like the in-person environment, or work remotely.
  • Intensive work schedule on Fridays all year round + July and August.
  • Salary according to your training and experience, with semiannual reviews based on real results and performance + financial support for teleworking.
  • Stable position with great professional projection, being part of a team that is growing solidly and progressively.
  • Access to continuous training, official certifications, conferences, and courses so you can keep growing and stay at the forefront.
