The Technical Specialist, Forestry is a lead forest management and chain of custody auditor responsible for reliable certification decisions, quality audit control, customer service, and providing technical support to domestic and international teams.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Conduct robust Forest Management and Chain of Custody audits.
- Generate detailed audit reports with consistent evidence descriptions.
- Assess and review management practices per certification standards.
- Coordinate audit processes and provide exceptional client support.
- Communicate requirements and support auditor training materials.
- Support quality initiatives and internal process improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in forestry, natural resources, ecology, or related field.
- 5+ years experience in forestry or natural resource management.
- Experience in auditing, quality assurance, and technical communication.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and teamwork orientation.
- Proficiency in business software and database management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Lead Forest Management and Chain of Custody auditor experience.
- Credentials such as Licensed or Registered Forester.
Working Remotely
This role is home-office based and includes domestic and international travel as required.
Estimated Annual Salary
$50,918.40 - $75,000.00
