Role Overview
The Electronic Vehicle Commissioning Engineer will strategize and develop vehicle commissioning concepts, coordinate production and development stakeholders, and manage technical changes. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and strategic problem solving to optimize production processes and vehicle diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic planning and development of commissioning concepts.
- Defining production-relevant requirements for vehicle commissioning.
- Coordinating with production and development teams.
- Monitoring technical changes in diagnostics, security, and architecture.
- Developing commissioning documents using IT systems.
Location & Travel
This role is based in Columbia, South Carolina with regular in-office requirements and occasional travel to Novi, Michigan for company events.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3 years professional experience in automotive manufacturing engineering or similar fields.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in automotive technology, mechanical, electrical, or software engineering.
- Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read wire diagrams and create technical reports.
