Overview

Join Scotiabank's Global Banking and Markets Engineering team as a Technical Product Analyst Capital Markets. You will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and internal engineering teams to ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality solution delivery.

Role Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Develop Business Requirements Documents, Design Documents, Use Cases, and Process Models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams through all stages of the SDLC.
  • Support production issues and handle escalations during release cycles.
  • Maintain effective communication between business and IT teams.

Technical & Functional Expertise

Applicants should have 4+ years of experience in capital markets, familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and documentation tools, and technical skills in Python, SQL, and Microsoft Office. Experience with data flow, sequence diagramming and specific trading systems is a plus.
