About the QA Lead Role

Join a purpose driven winning team at Scotiabank, committed to results in an inclusive and high-performing culture. As the QA Lead, you will drive the QA function for our application ecosystem and complex business and technology related initiatives across various lines of business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze scope, requirements, staffing, and project timelines.
  • Manage and coach a team of testers, offering guidance and mentorship.
  • Stay updated with modern technologies and recommend new processes.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert and ensure quality across multiple initiatives.
  • Create and review test strategies, test approaches, and test cases.
  • Monitor testing progress and offer constructive feedback.
  • Navigate internal bank processes effectively and manage QA budgets.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on technical aptitude with expertise in QA fundamentals.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring testers.
  • Proven track record in testing mission critical systems in agile environments.
  • At least 5 years leading test strategy, execution, and delivery.
  • Experience with Salesforce platform and integrating SaaS to cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with modern test frameworks and automation tools.
