Brief Introduction to the Role
As a ScotiaMcLeod Branch Systems Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective functioning of the branch team. Your efforts will guarantee that all workstations, voice communications, and multi-functional devices operate efficiently. Is This Role Right For You?
In this role, you will:
- Deliver proactive and reactive technical expertise with a hands-on approach, addressing issues and implementing improvements for Branch Staff.
- Act as the liaison with the Helpdesk and the Branch Training and Support Team to ensure efficient resolution to all technical issues.
- Ensure all technology within the branch is running at maximum efficiency, minimizing downtime and optimizing performance.
- Provide basic-level training and guidance on all applications to branch staff, fostering self-sufficiency.
- Escalate complex issues to internal and external providers promptly and effectively for specialized support.

- Proven experience in providing comprehensive IT support to end-users in a professional environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear and effective interaction with staff and technical teams.

- The ability to meet deadlines consistently, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft systems, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, for administrative and operational tasks.
