What You Will Do as a Senior UX Designer, Monopoly GO!
- Own and deliver complete UX for new mini-game experiences, transforming initial ideas into fully developed designs that meet product experience targets.
- Develop deep knowledge of the Monopoly GO! game to understand player perspectives and ground design decisions in real-world player experiences.
- Research relevant references and competitive analysis, deconstructing them for inspiration and to identify common pitfalls.
- Visualize design concepts through a range of deliverables, including sketches, low to medium fidelity wireframes, user flows, and interactive UX prototypes.
- Critically evaluate designs to identify weak points, gaps in thinking, and opportunities for improvement, applying a sharp design eye to strengthen solutions.
- Collaborate closely with product teams and artists, ensuring alignment throughout development, proactively sharing work, and providing necessary information.
- Utilize feedback, data, and other insights to refine designs, moving beyond reactive adjustments to make intentional, data-driven improvements.
- Contribute to long-term product and UX consistency by applying knowledge of Scopely’s design principles and patterns to your work.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of specialized experience in Game UX development, with a proven history of delivering features or initiatives from concept to implementation, preferably with experience on mini-games or gameplay-heavy features.
- Confidence in navigating ambiguous situations, demonstrating the ability to identify next steps, recognize blockers, and take initiative to drive projects forward.
- A solutions-oriented mindset that extends beyond problem identification to bring thoughtful, creative problem-solving approaches.
- A strong understanding of game development norms and pipelines, including how to design effectively within technical constraints, implementation realities, and cross-discipline workflows.
- An individual who thrives in a culture built on curiosity, improvement, creativity, and collaboration, coupled with a genuine passion for playing and creating games that fuels player-centered design.
