Performance Marketing Manager I

Scopely is looking for a Performance Marketing Manager I to join our User Acquisition team in Canada on a remote basis!

The User Acquisition team is focused on driving player growth and efficiency across various digital marketing channels. The teams are based in Europe and the US. The UA team’s mobile advertising ecosystem is an always-changing, rapidly growing world, and at Scopely, you'll play a key part in our next big leap in user growth. What You’ll Do

  • Independently manage significant performance marketing budgets across multiple channels to maximize games’ growth and profitability
  • Strategize, execute and continually optimize mobile campaigns on every critical mobile platform, including: Meta, Google, TikTok, DSP Networks, SDK Networks, CTV, Influencer marketing, and much more
  • Locate, negotiate and develop creative and innovative solutions for acquisition
  • Grow and manage marketing partnerships for UA efforts across the globe
  • Design and execute A/B & multivariate testing and present results to related teams
  • Contribute winning ad creative ideas and run creative testing, working closely with Marketing to execute on breakthrough creative strategies to attract new users
  • Work cross-functionally with product, ads, data, and creative teams to grow the portfolio and business through full-view lifecycle marketing
  • Be an expert in UA with key knowledge in order to lead a team
  • Raise flags for future potential issues that might arise if we continue on course or due to expected changes based on our current methodology
  • Proactively source new partners to diversify portfolio
  • Ability to present and speak in front of leadership stakeholders from varying functions

What We’re Looking For

  • BA or BS degree, preferably in Economics, Mathematics, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in media buying / user acquisition / performance marketing.
  • A hunger to be at the forefront of the mobile advertising space and the mobile app market
  • Creative problem solving acumen, as well as analytical rigor to verify or invalidate assumptions
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate with cross functional teams
  • Prefer candidates with direct previous experience in mobile user acquisition.
  • Hands-on experience with Facebook Ads and/or Google Ads is a plus
  • Understanding of funnel conversion metrics, retention rates and LTV predictions preferred
  • Deep understanding of our data architecture and tech stack, and be able to communicate effectively with data teams
  • Looks for external emerging trends
  • Ability to self-reflect, take feedback and create a personal improvement plan
  • Ability to follow-up on tasks and action items with no or little oversight
  • Strong proficiency with Excel required
