About the Role

The Associate Technical Director Build & Automation at Scopely will lead the strategic vision, architectural design, and technical direction for build systems, release automation, and CI/CD infrastructure for Monopoly GO! The role requires managing and mentoring a global team while collaborating across functions to optimize release workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical direction for build systems, CI/CD and release automation.
  • Manage and mentor a global team of build and release engineers.
  • Collaborate with engineering, QA, production, and operations teams.
  • Define and evolve tooling and pipelines for Unity-based development.
  • Drive improvements in build reliability, performance and cost-efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

  • Technical leadership in infrastructure or developer tooling.
  • Expertise in CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Bamboo, TeamCity, etc.).
  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).
  • Proficiency in C# and Unity-driven build challenges.
  • Experience with observability tools such as DataDog, Kibana, New Relic, and Bugsnag.
