Technical Project Manager JD Edwards Finance Systems

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with strong JD Edwards and finance systems experience to support an enterprise AP and General Ledger support transition to Genpact. This individual will help lead project coordination, build trust with business and technical stakeholders, and ensure a smooth transition of finance support functions while maintaining visibility across timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with JD Edwards/Oracle ERP, specifically within Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and financial reporting environments. This role will also support future data and reporting modernization efforts, including migration from the current data warehouse/MS Access reporting environment toward Microsoft Fabric.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project planning, coordination, and execution for AP/GL support transition activities.
  • Partner with internal finance, IT, business stakeholders, and Genpact teams to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Manage project timelines, risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder communication.
  • Provide oversight across JD Edwards-related finance processes and system support needs.
  • Help document current-state processes, reporting workflows, and future-state migration needs.
  • Support planning for Microsoft Fabric/data warehouse modernization initiatives.
  • Build trusted relationships with leadership, finance users, technical teams, and vendor partners.

Required Experience

  • Technical Project Management experience within ERP or finance systems environments.
  • Hands-on project experience with JD Edwards / JDE / Oracle ERP.
  • Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and financial reporting processes.
  • Experience managing vendor transitions, offshore support teams, or BPO partners.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with finance, IT, data, and executive stakeholders.
