Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new DER (non-OEM) and OE-licensed repair solutions for ball and roller bearings and high-value components.
  • Implement repair development for non-bearing components when required.
  • Manage and expedite the reverse engineering process while providing cost analysis and pricing.
  • Develop and manage FAA/DER (military equivalent) license packages.
  • Oversee component manufacturing to support all aspects of the repair process.
  • Collaborate with OE Engineering for technical support and design expertise.
  • Provide operational support to the Repair Station.

Your Qualifications

Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials Science, Industrial or related field), 2-5 years experience in aerospace engineering (preferably in MRO, component repair, or product support), proficiency in engineering analysis, CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, etc.), technical report writing, strong knowledge of aerospace materials, repair processes (welding, machining, coating, NDT, etc.) and aviation regulations, and must meet Export Control compliance as a US Person.

Preferred: Experience with regulatory approval processes (DER repairs, FAA/EASA, UK CAA etc.) and a Professional Engineering (PE) license or EASA Part 66 license.
