About the Role
Our client, a well-established food blog with a loyal readership and over 800 approachable recipes, is seeking a Marketing & Copywriting Assistant. This brand is a trusted resource for home cooks looking for simple, thoughtful, and reliable meal inspiration. This fully remote role supports daily content operations, including writing, content optimization, newsletter support, and social media scheduling. It blends structured workflows with creative contributions, requiring strong writing skills, foundational SEO knowledge, and thoughtful use of AI tools to enhance the creative process.
What You’ll Do as a Marketing & Copywriting Assistant
- Schedule content across Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Write and edit blog posts, newsletters, scripts, and social captions.
- Repurpose content across platforms while maintaining consistent brand voice.
- Apply SEO best practices, including keyword integration, headers, and meta descriptions.
- Update and optimize existing blog content for readability and search performance.
- Support formatting of recipe posts and strengthen internal linking.
- Conduct light keyword research to support ongoing SEO initiatives.
- Follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and collaborate on weekly/monthly content priorities.
What You Bring
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, copywriting, or content creation.
- Experience with Meta Business Suite (required).
- Working knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics.
- Native-level English with a warm, reader-focused writing style.
- Comfort using AI writing tools responsibly within structured workflows.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to balance independent work with team collaboration.
- Interest in cooking, home cooking culture, or Mediterranean-style cuisine (highly desirable).
