Junior Social Media Manager
This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone.
Our client is seeking a motivated and creative Junior Social Media Manager to execute social media strategies and drive brand engagement across various platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of social media, enjoys engaging with online communities, and creates content that resonates with audiences. Role Overview
The Junior Social Media Manager will execute social media strategies, create engaging content, and drive brand engagement across multiple platforms. This role focuses on content creation, community interaction, influencer collaboration, and performance optimization while supporting overall brand growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Write compelling, on-brand social media copy that connects with target audiences.
- Create engaging visuals using tools like Canva, with the option to incorporate GPT for content creation (within guardrails).
- Support the development and execution of the content calendar, ensuring timely and relevant posts.
- Collaborate on influencer and brand content to promote organic growth.
Community Engagement
- Actively engage with the online community across social media platforms, including comments, direct messages, and conversations.
- Maintain a positive and engaging brand presence by responding to inquiries and driving meaningful conversation.
- Stay up-to-date on social media trends and incorporate these insights into content creation.
Influencer Marketing
- Work with influencers to create authentic, brand-aligned content that strengthens messaging.
- Leverage AI tools to assist with content creation while maintaining a personal touch.
- Build and maintain relationships with influencers to boost brand visibility.
Monitoring & Optimization
- Track social media performance, adjust strategies, and optimize content for maximum engagement.
- Use AI and humanizing tools to tailor content and meet platform-specific standards.
- Consistently evaluate content effectiveness to ensure alignment with brand objectives.
Qualifications
Experience
- 1+ years in social media management or related roles, with a focus on content creation and community engagement.
- Experience with influencer marketing and brand content is a plus.
Skills
- Proficiency in Canva or similar design tools, with experience in GPT-assisted content creation.
- Ability to develop content strategies and execute hands-on content creation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English.
- Passion for social media and familiarity with American culture.
- Self-starter mindset: eager to learn, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic.
