This Full-Stack Technical Lead role, open to candidates in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe, requires availability during U.S. business hours to support U.S.-based clients. Our client is undergoing a significant web ecosystem transformation, separating sales functionality (HubSpot/Salesforce) from value delivery components (Nuxt.js) and building a new Learning Management System (LMS). This position demands strong technical leadership to architect scalable platforms, modernize infrastructure, and align engineering efforts with overarching business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

As a Full-Stack Technical Lead, you will be instrumental in several key areas:

• Technical Leadership & Development: Lead the development and enhancement of the Nuxt.js-based product portal and the new web-based LMS, ensuring top-tier performance, scalability, and security. You will architect and implement AWS-based infrastructure, including RDS, robust DevOps pipelines, and efficient environment management. This includes overseeing the strategic split of the website into distinct sales and value delivery components, ensuring seamless technical alignment and integration. Additionally, you will develop and maintain comprehensive DevOps processes, covering CI/CD pipelines, environment management (dev/stage/prod), and pull request approvals, while partnering with the BI/analytics team to uphold data integrity and platform performance.
• Team Leadership & Collaboration: Manage and mentor a dedicated team of three developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. You will work closely with marketing, product, and executive leadership to ensure technical execution directly supports business goals, serving as the primary technical liaison to translate business requirements into actionable technical strategies.
• Project & Process Management: Drive Agile methodologies effectively, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. Your role will involve troubleshooting complex technical issues to minimize downtime of critical systems, conducting thorough code reviews, enforcing best practices, and maintaining high standards for code quality and documentation.
• Strategic Planning & Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest trends in web application development, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure, proactively recommending improvements to the technology stack. You will collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure the technical feasibility of new features and optimizations, and lead the transition from ad-hoc local scripts to scalable, team-owned infrastructure.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• Experience:
  • 5+ years of full-stack development experience, with a strong emphasis on backend technologies such as Node.js, Express, Nest.js, or similar frameworks.
  • Expertise in Nuxt.js and Vue.js (proficiency in both Vue 2 and 3 is highly desirable).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services, including RDS, EC2, Lambda, and DevOps tools like Docker, Terraform, and GitHub Actions.
  • Proven track record of leading small development teams, including mentoring and performance management.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools such as Jira or Trello.
  • High proficiency in English (both written and verbal) for effective leadership-level communication.
• Skills:
