Assistant Retail Manager at Savills Australia & New Zealand

A unique opportunity exists for a full-time Assistant Retail Manager to join our exciting shopping centre management team. Working within a friendly and dynamic office, this role will allow you to showcase your existing skills and experience within retailer management and administration.
What You'll be Doing
- Ensure tenants comply with the terms of their leases, licenses and permitted use
- Promptly respond to customer/tenant queries and complaints and escalating when necessary
- Assist Retail Manager with retailer requests and retail administration tasks
- Ensure all tenants comply with centre rules
- Assist with the arrears procedure and meeting arrears targets
- Report regularly on centre performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues
- Maintain awareness of retail trends and competition within the catchment area
- Initiate changes to improve shopping centre service level offering
- Accountable for the day today running of ad-hoc and scheduled office duties
This role will form part of a rotating Duty Roster, which includes Thursday and/or Friday nights, weekends, public holidays, and extended trading periods. Any additional hours worked would be taken as time off in lieu.

- Prior experience within administration in a retail shopping centre environment or similar
- Strong relationship management and negotiation skills
- Ability to work with tenants, clients, centre management staff and contractors
- Advanced administration and financial skills
